President Radev convenes 45th National Assembly on 15 April

President Rumen Radev signed a decree convening the newly-elected 45th National Assembly at its first sitting on 15 April at 9am, said the press office of the head of state on Tuesday.

The decree is expected to be published in an extraordinary issue of the State Gazette on Wednesday.

The president signed the decree on the same day after the results of the 4 April parliamentary elections were published in the State Gazette.

In his first comment on the results of the 4 April vote, which he made to journalists on Monday, the head of state was adamant that he had no intention of delaying the decree.
