Preliminary election results data

The first wave of data on the outcome of today's general elections in Bulgaria has started to trickle in from pollsters. The figures are based on exit polls conducted outside of polling places.

According to Trend, the ruling party GERB has won 25.1% of the votes, BSP - 16.5%, There is Such a People - 16.2%, MRF - 10%, Democratic Bulgaria Alliance - 9.4%, the Stand up! Mafiosi out! coalition - 4.8%, IMRO-BNM - 4.5%.

Alpha Research's data shows GERB at 25.7%, BSP - 17.6%, There is Such a People - 15.2%, MRF - 11%, Democratic Bulgaria Alliance - 10.4%, Stand up! Mafiosi out! - 4.2%, IMRO-BNM - 4%.

According to Gallup, the distribution of votes is as follows: GERB - 25%, There is Such a People - 17.1, BSP - 16.7%, Democratic Bulgaria Alliance - 10.5%, MRF - 10.2, Stand up! Mafiosi out! - 5%.

Market Links has GERB at 24.5%, BSP - 19.9%, There is Such a People - 15.5%, MRF - 10.4%, Democratic Bulgaria Alliance - 10.3%, Stand up! Mafiosi out! - 4.7%, IMRO-BNM - 4.1%.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, turnout was 40.18% of eligible voters as of 5.00pm on Election Day in Bulgaria.
