Final results: There Is Such a People wins 24.08% of votes, GERB-UDF - 23.51%

Based on 100% of district election commission tally sheets counted at constituency election commissions, the party There Is Such a People has won 24.08% (657,824 votes) in the 11 July snap parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, the Central Electoral Commission reported late on Tuesday evening.

The GERB-UDF coalition is second with 23.51% (642,165 votes), followed by BSP for Bulgaria with 13.39% (365,695 votes), Democratic Bulgaria Alliance with 12.64% (345,329 votes), Movement for Rights and Freedoms with 10.71% (292,439 votes), the coalition Stand Up! Mafiosi Out! - 5.01% (136,879 votes).

The final results and the distribution of seats in the Parliament will be announced within four days of election day, which is 15 July at the latest.

    President Rumen Radev opened consultations Friday with the parties in the newly elected Bulgarian Parliament ahead of presenting a mandate for the formation of a government. He started with There Is Such a People (TISP) whose 65 MPs make up the biggest group in Parliament. On the back of the start of talks, the formerly ruling GERB party, which now is the second biggest in Parliament, announced at a news briefing that they were not going to meet with the President.
