El Chapo concocts fake news about Peevski, Agent Academician chimes in
Frognews founder, the Poisonous Trio, Vasil Bozhkov and Tsvetan Vassilev dream about becoming the (thieving) ruling sixMonitor News Agency
Vasil Bozhkov, aka the Bulgarian El Chapo, is facing serious problems. The gambling tzar and oligarch is desperately trying to hold on to his companies, real estate, and cash. That explains the ill-conceived fake news he posted on Facebook against lawmaker and Telegraph Media publisher Delyan Peevski. He was likely aided by his PR, a lady named Ivet Dobromirova.
Alas, the mumbling skull, as Bozhkov’s former partner Tsvetomir Naydenov calls the oligarch, and the shriveled-up former professional protester both failed miserably in their goal. They tried to make Peevski out to have something to do with the State Agency for National Security and a list of companies, regarding which the financial intelligence has been instructing notaries not to witness the signing of any disposition deals – in other words, not to allow transfers of rights, sales, non-cash contributions, and pledges.
El Chapo is a famous master of such tricks, having accumulated quite the experience at the Magura. Offering currency exchange services outside a confectionery is a heck of a piece of training. First it emerged that he had failed to pay BGN 700m in taxes, then the majority of his art collection turned out to be illegal and then he was slapped with 19 felony charges, including ordering murders, rape, and racketeering with the end game of taking over businesses.
The oligarchy finally spilt the beans and pronounced Peevski and his media outlets enemy №1. The lawmaker and his newspapers Telegraph and Monitor should take that as a compliment. His legislative initiatives, and most notably the so-called Peevski Act, prevented the efforts of fugitive banker Tsvetan Vassilev, aka the Bulgarian Madoff, and his clique to steal whatever was left of CorpBank in the aftermath of him defrauding unsuspecting depositors out of a total of BGN 5.6bn. Meanwhile, our media outlets revealed that the cohort of the indicted oligarch Ivo Prokopiev gained control over monopolies in the mining industry (Kaolin), natural gas supplies and pharmaceutical sales during the privatisation period.
Under the Fake News Factory rules, Bozhkov’s fake-news post was immediately disseminated through Frognews, which embellished it with some more falsehoods, mentioning Peevski to make it more convincing. Frognews is practically operating as a propaganda bulletin board against the lawmaker.
The founder of Frognews, Ognyan Stefanov, better known as Agent Academician of the communist-era State Security, owes the Bulgarian public a lot of answers. One of those would be to the question why he was regularly seen limping around with his cane outside a Hristo Belchev Str. café. Said street is a stone’s throw away from Garibaldi Square, where the CorpBank headquarters are located.
That Agent Academician and the Poisonous Trio are working in tandem is obvious to see now. Lately, it seems as if they have been having the same sweet dreams and waking up inspired. Dreams about becoming part of a (thieving) ruling six and having as official sponsors the Bulgarian Madoff and El Chapo, who return to the country as saviors, their reputations now pristine.
In those dreams, Tsvetan Vassilev creates CorpBank-2, while Bozhkov – a new gambling empire. Nikolay Hadzhigenov is crowned official attorney of oligarchs such as the Bulgarian Madoff and El Chapo and competently carries out their banking and gambling transactions. Capital circle’s favourite sculptor, Prof. Velislav Minekov, is showered with commissions, including for a bust of oligarch Ivo Prokopiev holding a scale model of Kaolin. The artistic community wants to recognise him by making him “academician”. Arman Babikyan, for his part, is dreaming about serving the new CorpBank and the new gambling empire via PR contracts worth millions. After all, he is well-versed in that area.
Agent Academician also gets a new leading role – no more fake news, he gets paid to do advertisements for the new bank of the Bulgarian Madoff and the gambling business of El Chapo. In the mornings he walks to the Hristo Belchev Str. café with the help of his cane, in the afternoons he hovers around Moskovska Str. What sweet dreams the “magnificent six” has! It would appear that the alcohol vapors engulfing this cast of characters are having their effect. Whatever this crew and its extremely manipulative media outlets say, just know they are really talking about crimes, stealing money and defrauding people.
