Banker posts fake against Peevski too

Delyan Peevski

Banker, a newspaper generously financed by the fugitive banker Tsvetan Vassilev, has also made its contribution to circulation of lies about the lawmaker and publisher of Telegraph Media Delyan Peevski.

Apparently, time has stopped for the reporters of this newspaper and their corpulent editor-in-chief, because they have been circulating one and the same fake since 2015 just like the satellite media outlets of their mentor Tsvetan Vassilev, namely the media of oligarchic publishers Ivo Prokopiev, Sasho Donchev and Ognyan Donev. The fake is about some mysterious ties between Bulgartabac and Peevski which they only seem to see.

In something like an analytical material titled “Spring cleaning Peevski style” which the Banker’s team posted at a central place on their site, they again are trying to launder the dirty and worn out old misinformation piece using lies and false suggestions.

The most absurd thing is that the friends of the shady ex-banker are talking about “cutting off the tail” while at the same time they are at the rear of the fakes series launched by Capital newspaper, the media battering ram of indicted oligarch Ivo Prokopiev. The initiative for fakes generation was passed on to Stoyana Georgieva, the lifetime spokesperson of Ivan Kostov, and then to Frognews, the private site of Tsvetan Vassilev, sustained by another corpulent journalist, Ognyan Stefanov, aka Agent Academician, and still later it was copied by Dnevnik, a smaller battering ram of Prokopiev, and only after it the fake was reposted by Banker.

The information has no source, because none of the cited “battering rams” don’t think it necessary to use sources. The reason is simple: there are no sources and there cannot be because all claims about ties between Peevski and Bulgartabac do not exist in real life. These are only the talking points padded by bundles of money which the mentors of these publications pay to them. And the fact that Banker has exploited this theme repeatedly does not make it more true-to-life. Revamping its old reports Banker in fact imitates activity, but only that. As regards the prognoses which Banker’s team is trying to make on the basis of evidence-free arguments, we would only like to remind that this was the newspaper which in 2010 gave special award to the then chair of CorpBank Supervisory Board, Tsvetan Vassilev. He received the award for market sustainability. Four years later the bank was declared insolvent. So much for the “fortune-telling skills” of Banker, they are just as clumsy as their journalistic attempts at making “investigations” based on oligarchic talking points. Otherwise the attempt of a drowning man to reach at a straw is understandable.

The Fake News Factory media outlets are sinking while passing to each other the plastic shells of talking points.

And while Banker ended the week with the same fake that the satellite media of the oligarchic Fake News Factory used to start the week, these media, on their part, went back to their old practice – to make a fake from any information in the news feed.

Thus, first Capital and then Frognews put to use the news that Ataka political party proposed ex-chief of the National Revenue Agency and current deputy chair of the Financial Supervision Commission for the post of its chair, just to attribute this nomination to Peevski.

Why on earth Frognews, the site of State Security agent Academician, arrived at the conclusion that Atanasov is a “man of Peevski” does not become clear from the report because it doesn’t quote any facts to evidence the claim. Neither does it quote any examples, let alone reliable, which could bear out these claims. This, however, is not the aim of the exercise. The aim of this cog of the manipulations manufacture, as well as of the rest of the websites it sustains, is to reiterate one and the same mantra in the hope that eventually the community will take for truth. No matter that it is a lie. It is noteworthy that unlike Frognews, Capital, which is otherwise immune to having scruples, used a much more covert approach to the promotion of this next in a row talking point. Capital has managed to meet the quota for generating reports citing the name of Peevski that are flooding him with lies in the internet, inserting in their report a claim that there was a link between Peevski and Atanasov in… the legend to photo. People rightly say that the devil is in the details. Propagandists know it best.
