The album with unreleased so far performances by Prince will be on the market 21 September. The disc comprises nine pieces and is played for 35 minutes. Its name is Piano and a Microphone 1983. It was recorded in the home studio of Prince in Minnesota and the only instrument sounding in the record is the piano. The album's cover is a shot of the pop icon made backstage during his tour in 1999. The album is produced by Warner Bros Records.
Recently, fans of the star staged a festival dedicated to the 60th birthday of the singer. All concerts, tours of all locations of the movie Purple Rain (1984), as well as a special viewing of the film, commemorated the iconic singer.
The forum was staged by the fans of Prince, but Joel King took part in the conceptual part. He worked as a photographer for several of Prince's projects. Some of the star's heirs also attended the festival. Admittance to all events was free and the fans sent into the sky 60 butterflies as a symbolic birthday gift to the singer.
