Brussels debut for EUROPOST
New Bulgarian Media Group opened an office in the Belgian capital
New Bulgarian Media Group opened a representative office with a news desk in Brussels on 26th October. The event was accompanied by the official launch of the holding’s new publication - the weekly EUROPOST. The gala was held in the famous Concert Noble Hall in Brussels near the European Parliament located in a beautiful building presented as a gift by King Leopold II.Irena Krasteva, CEO of New Bulgarian Media Group, did the honours of cutting the ribbon at the office opening event. The opening was attended by part of the team of EUROPOST. The weekly in English will provide news on politics, business and culture. ‘The objective of this new publication is to bridge between nations and cultures in Europe, between Bulgaria and the European Union," said Irena Krasteva.The gala was attended by more than a 100 guests - MEPs, senior officials at the European Commission, diplomats, businessmen and journalists. All guests showed great interest for the first issue of EUROPOST.The new publication of the media group received greetings from Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, Metropolitan Simeon, Bulgarian Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva, and Bulgaria’s Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov. Zinaida Zlatanova, head of EC Representation in Bulgaria and Violeta Stanicic, leader of the EP Information Office in Bulgaria, also extended their greetings to EUROPOST. Salutations were also received from former MP Simeon Sakskoburggotski.
