      Close the churches! Right now!

Eastern Europe in the grip of coronavirus pandemic

Compared to the West, Eastern Europe so far stays well in the coronavirus pandemic. The highest numbers of infections are in the Czech Republic and Poland, with 2,866 cases and 1,905 cases respectively, still a fraction of the numbers in most western European countries. Partly this is due to the lockdown measures introduced at an early stage in the outbreak, but also to a much lower testing rate than in the West, news wires reported.

Are the measures taken all over the world in order to tackle the coronavirus spread necessary or they are too harsh and would have negative impacts at the end? Is the Covid-19 something exceptional or this is yet another seasonal infection by an ordinary, yet, novel coronavirus? Is the reaction of the world leaders coming on time, was it late or was it unnecessary strong? Is it really Covid-19 virus that dangerous?
