So as not to fall into a ridiculous situation. Because their lies reach more and more cosmic heights in their absurdity. Moreover - refuting each other.

Failed former justice minister Hristo “Pinocchio” Ivanov suddenly got spooked by the prospect of a Grand National Assembly (GNA) and ran for the hills on that idea. Just a week ago, he held the opposite view, reveling in the opportunity to tell rally attendees how a GNA should be convened as soon as possible. Now he is trying to push the narrative that PM Boyko Borissov would be doing lawmaker Delyan Peevski a favour with a GNA.

Pinocchio’s nose grew up at least 20cm (8in) in just twelve hours. Hristo Ivanov, the puppet party leader, spouted an obscene amount of lies in his latest schizophrenic Facebook live on Tuesday, making sure to mention several times the name of the oligarchy’s hated enemy, Delyan Peevski. Lest he should forget his own words, Pinocchio posted a Facebook message with the talking points.

If the founders of the Roman law had drawn the draft new constitution, the circle of Hristo Ivanov and the oligarchy mainstream would still not be satisfied.

The Bulgarian oligarchs have been shaking since yesterday. Even if a bomb had fallen on their palaces, which were paid with plundered from us money, it would still not have caused them such a shock and horror. The indicted oligarch for criminal privatisation Ivo Prokopiev has boasted that he is "taking power in a few weeks and then will rule the country with his friends from SIC party (SIC is a former protection racket group – editor’s note)". This was announced by the former MEP and current leader of the Anti-Corruption Front Nikolay Barekov in a live Facebook post on Wednesday. A day after he tried to reach the beach occupied by Ivo Prokopiev near Budjaka area rocks, Barekov tried to land there with a catamaran.

With another well-directed public appearance, Ivo Prokopiev once again proved how cynical and boundless his impudence is. After the former MEP and current leader of the Anti-Corruption Front Nikolay Barekov took a photo of Prokopiev's luxury maritime property in the beautiful Budjaka area, the oligarch threatened to sue him.

Some (well-known) oligarchs have been skillfully exploiting the ongoing protests as a lifejacket at sea. Atanas Atanasov, who serves as something of an avatar for the so-called Commander, made an appearance on bTV, the network providing coverage favourable to the anti-government protests, to put on the latest Capital circus show.
