Silent cinema and live jazz in Sofia

At the onset of a new decade and with a view to the 1920s culture, Goethe Institut has launched Klangkino - a new music and cinema initiative which will be screening silent films of the past century, to the accompaniment of live music, as it was done a century ago. Instead of classic film music, the shows will be accompanied by modern performances, jazz improvisations and electronic DJ sets.
