Anyone flying to the US will soon need to show proof of a negative test for COVID-19, health officials announced Tuesday.

Arrivals to England and Scotland, including UK nationals, will be required to test negative for coronavirus before entering the country starting next week, news wires reported.

France and Britain agreed to reopen cross-border travel on Wednesday after a snap 48-hour ban to curb the spread of a new coronavirus variant threatened UK supply chains, AFP reported.
