Bulgarian judge gives shameful interview with Der Spiegel

Lozan Panov, the head of the Supreme Court of Cassation, performed a complex gymnastic exercise. He made a flexible side-split before the authoritative German publication Der Spiegel, where he uttered a bunch of lies without batting an eyelid. The paradox is that his interview came out with a headline citing him to say: "Don't close your eyes, Europe, and be silent."

Capital circle’s milk catches, Delyan Peevski is to blame

The leader of Democratic Bulgaria, Hristo Ivanov, also called Pinocchio because of his tendency to lies, doped with Capital circle’s pills and concocted a declaration, in which he exposed himself as a despicable coward. In it, he tried to pin non-existing ties between the MP and publisher of Telegraph Media Delyan Peevski with some circus one-man show of the former MEP Nikolay Barekov.

bTV (Bozhkov TV) in ecstasy over Bulgarian Madoff minion

Remarkable synchronicity was demonstrated today between the news website Dnevnik, the flagship of the Capital circle, and bTV, the network that has been dubbed Bozhkov TV. By having camera crews cover every step of the leader of Boets, the NGO of fugitive banker Tsvetan Vassilev, and keeping to the familiar talking points, also featured on the news website of oligarch Ivo Prokopiev, the journalistic teams of these two supposedly independent media outlets have proven themselves to be in service of the behind-the-scenes clique. And there is nothing surprising about that.

Distorted parallel world of Prokopiev sociology

Do you know what distinguishes sociology from manipulation? The questions. Just ask any student specialising in this field of science, which is supposed to study public sentiment. “Supposed to” are the operative words here because in Bulgaria sociology, and not only, has long morphed from science into an instrument for manipulating said public sentiment.

President Radev – Ara, the parrot, of Capital circle

The head of our state, who should represent the nation and should be its unifier according to the Constitution, proved to be a simple parrot. The events of the recent weeks have removed Rumen Radev’s mask and his feathered nature beneath has shown up - a colorful bird, Ara macaw, tied up to the Capital circle.

Practice makes perfect the oligarchs' propaganda against Delyan Peevski

For some people, practice makes perfect the knowledge. For oligarch-publishers like Ivo Prokopiev, it makes perfect the propaganda. No, not only because of Goebbels' postulate of how a lie can be turned into truth with a hundred repetitions. Also because of the hope, which is obviously harboured by them, that by reprinting the lies by means of indigo, their manipulations will reach more readers and some of them may trust them.

Delyan Peevski and the libel spread by an Actualno avatar

What happens when a person whose biography can be described in all of three lines of text tries to be original? Not much. Even if said person proclaims himself to hold the title of editor-in-chief. For months now, some imitation of a news website called Actualno has been trying to hone its skills at the expense of lawmaker and Telegraph Media publisher Delyan Peevski – the result are vile, malicious and pathetic pieces by an author who presents himself as editor-in-chief. This is a journalist we have never heard of. Who is he and what does he stand for?

Prokopiev puts his hand on BGN 700m in BDB funding through strawman

The indicted leader of the behind-the-scenes clique in Bulgaria, Ivo Prokopiev, is trying to sink his claws into BGN 700m in public funding set aside to help citizens and businesses hit by the coronavirus-induced crisis. While society and the institutions are devoting all their energy and attention to fighting the new coronavirus, the oligarch, who is chin-deep in debt, is on the verge of putting one of his loyalists on the management of the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB).
