Old anti-Peevski fake news for rainy days

The cohort of scribblers paid by the oligarchs has found a new method of defaming the behind-the-scenes clique’s eternal enemy – lawmaker of the opposition party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and Telegraph Media publisher Delyan Peevski. Running out of talking points in the hectic run-up to the European Parliament elections in Bulgaria, the puppet journalists decided to throw old fake news at Peevski.

      Photoshop against Peevski

Proverbial wisdom says that people are inclined to blame others for their own vices and wrongdoings. With this in mind it is really scary even to imagine what is going on in the editorial offices of the media outlets owned by the indicted oligarch-publishers or those associated with them. After three weeks of the election campaign three things are already evident.

Fake news factory busts a pipe – pins disappearance of journalist on Peevski

The Fake News Factory has completely gone off the rails after spinning a semi-criminal plot in its latest fake news about lawmaker of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) and Telegraph media publisher Delyan Peevski that is worthy of contending for a prize. The “news” appeared on one of the Factory’s websites – fakti.bg, while its original source is the TV channel Eurocom, which aired a short piece with journalist Hristo Geshov from the website Bivol.

Dnevnik turns Peevski into… tourist attraction

The website Dnevnik would have you believe that Delyan Peevski is some sort of tourist attraction connected to one of the tiniest streets in Sofia – Malko Tarnovo Str. The publication’s unhealthy obsession with lawmaker and Telegraph Media publisher Delyan Peevski has reached new heights. The flagship media outlet of the Razgrad oligarch Ivo Prokopiev sees the “long hand” of Peevski absolutely everywhere, to the point of being ridiculous.

Another serving of Deutsche Lüge against Peevski*

The Bulgarian desk of Deutsche Welle, lured to the dark side by oligarch Ivo Prokopiev’s media machine, is not particularly popular among readers in Bulgaria. But it is, nevertheless, an important cog in the Fake News Factory because it constantly spews insinuations, suggestions and provocations. The facts, of course, are of no importance.

Komarnitski case: Cartoonist on leash barks against Peevski

The “Komarnitski case” is the diagnosis of an insignificant part of the Bulgarian public, a Facebook army of professional protesters. He is a cartoonist on a chain, hiding an unsuspected talent. Here he is a hair’s breadth away from figuratively spearing natural gas tycoon Sasho Donchev, thanks to whose false reports Bulgaria was sentenced to pay over €77m in fines not long ago.

Agent Academician, get it off your chest already…

The website Frognews, owned by agent of the communist-era State Security Ognyan Stefanov, is very sad these days. The negligible publication, which for years has been operating as an unofficial press office of the fugitive banker hiding in Serbia Tsvetan Vassilev, recently decided to act the honourable and distance itself from its long-time benefactor.
