      Italian Senate delays no confidence vote, frustrating Salvini

      The Italian Senate on Tuesday voted down the League proposal a no confidence motion in Premier Giuseppe Conte to be voted on Wednesday, with the 5-Star Movement (M5S) and the Democratic Party (PD) voting together, news wires reported. Instead to vote tomorrow the Senate decided that Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte should address the upper house over the crisis on 20 August.
