Dinosaurs encounter in Varna
14 July, 2017
Living Dinosaurs, one of the world’s most famous and spectacular exhibitions, has arrived in Varna. It will be on display in the Sea Garden, an emblematic spot for the port city, until 3 September, taking locals and visitors alike on an unforgettable journey through the prehistoric times.
The Living Dinosaurs exhibition offers a unique encounter with the largest creatures to have ever roamed the face of Earth. The collection features 24 kinds of real-size moving dinosaur replicas and skeletons, including the children’s favourite Tyrannosaurus Rex. Every model has been crafted with the colour, skin texture, movement and sound typical for its kind. The huge moving figures have been created with remarkable attention to even the tiniest scientific detail, making them appear so realistic that it will take visitors but a few minutes to be transported millions of years back in time. In addition to the interactive figures, the exhibition acquaints the visitors with curious facts about the origin and life of dinosaurs, their habits, how they used to hunt and take care of their offspring.
Living Dinosaurs is the first exhibition of its kind worldwide. Since its unveiling, it has been seen by over 10 million people in South America, the Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Cyprus, Greece, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai and many other countries across the globe. The event is part of the Varna – European Youth Capital 2017 programme and is realised with the support of Varna Municipality.
Tickets are available at the price of BGN 10 for children and BGN 12 for adults and can be purchased via the Eventim website, its franchise ticket offices and on the site of the exhibition in the Sea Garden of Varna. Set up in the immediate vicinity of the Pantheon monument, the exhibition will welcome visitors every day between 10am and 10pm.
